Imagine if you and your leadership team could remain calm, balanced, and positive even when things get tough.

The ability to respond to life's challenges with a positive mindset, rather than a negative mindset is called mental fitness. This isn't toxic positivity. It is the skill to notice our negative self-talk and actively redirect our mind to our "wiser" self.
Just like physical fitness helps us live a healthy life, mental fitness helps us lead a happy one - even when things go wrong and life feels stressful. Strengthening your mental fitness can change your relationship to stressful events and give you the tools to navigate difficult situations in a more effective way.
The program that I lead is based on the work of Shirzad Chamine and his book, Positive Intelligence, which I highly recommend.
Here's the basic idea:
- We all have negative voices in our head that make us feel worse or act in ways that make life harder. These are our 'Saboteurs'.
- Learning to have self-command over those negative voices gives you the tools to face challenging times without getting out of balance. It allows you to develop self-mastery, rather than self-sabotage.
- When we activate our 'Sage' (the wise part of our mind) we can stay calm and focused, find creative solutions to our problems and take bold action when we need to.
Basically, when we recognize our Saboteurs, put them back in their place, and activate our Sage, life feels better, even when it isn't perfect.
The mental fitness program will help you strengthen the part of your brain that serves you, and quiet the part that sabotages you. This allows you to handle the challenges that life sends your way with a more positive mindset, so you can have less stress.
This is mental fitness.
In the mental fitness program your team, of up to 6 people, will have a 7-week intensive experience that involves a weekly guided meeting via Zoom with Dr. Chiaramonte, a weekly video, daily practice, and the use of an app designed to help you strengthen the key mental fitness muscles: Saboteur Interceptor, Self-Command, and Sage.
The program will teach you and your team to shift the balance of power from your inner Saboteurs (your negative self) to your inner Sage (your positive self).
Dr. Chiaramonte will be your guide on this journey.
